Enjoy the convenience of dry sulfur storage
and the reliability of molten sulfur metering
in one flue gas conditioning system.

Eliminating the operating headaches associated with changing sulfur from a dry to molten state for burning in sulfur based Flue Gas Conditioning Systems.

Description

For years Flue Gas Conditioning Systems exclusively used molten sulfur feedstock. More recently systems employing dry granular sulfur for direct feed to the sulfur burner, have met with little or no success in operation. Recognizing that plant operators may be partial to granular sulfur feedstock, HERA LLC has developed a reliable dry-to-molten sulfur interface system (DSI™). Utilizing conventional components such as bag/hopper storage, simple conveyors and proven small melter/day tanks, DSI™ systems have proven to be the best solution for the irritating problems plaguing dry sulfur based FGC systems.

Features and Benefits
DSI™ Systems produce a continuous supply of molten sulfur for high accuracy metering while requiring minimal molten sulfur storage. Feedstock is stored in its dry form making DSI™ based systems the safest and most convenient design available. In instances of retrofit applications to the DSI™ system, many of the existing FGC system’s components may be reused.
